After designing and renovating this couple's kitchen, we were thrilled when they asked us to design and install their master bathroom. It was dark, cramped and in dire need of a facelift. It did not represent the home's charm and the client's lovely personality. Our design encompassed those details, presenting a fresh, new color palette and changes to the layout to create a new, brighter space. We took down a wall which allowed us to open up the shower and showcase a striped tile design with a 'marble looking' porcelain tile to give a luxurious aesthetic, but would also be very durable for a shower application. The client also requested a freestanding, soaking tub, a feature that is not only great for taking a relaxing bubble bath, but became a captivating focal point of the entire space. In addition to the tub, a custom vanity, countertop and beaded board wainscot all reflect the house's traditional setting. The last finishing touches were a fresh coat of soft blue paint and a lovely, custom shade to tie it all together. The entire bathroom is now lighter, brighter and much more functional for this couple, and is a better reflection of who they truly are.
