After meeting at the Symphony Designer House, this homeowner reached out to us about designing the finishes for her master suite that Mike Foltz, a local Richmond architect, had included in an expansion of their contemporary Brandermill home. The wife's eclectic style and her husband's love of cars were our main source of design inspiration. We added a double vanity across from the newly enlarged his-and-her closets, an updated shower, soaking tub and water closet with an additional cabinet for storage. After the completion of the bathroom, they asked us to create the same vibe for their sunroom. This room has a beautiful view of the lake, one that we did not want to distract from, so we used that as a backdrop for a design that complemented  the open living space. Swivel chairs and a sectional sofa were a necessity to keep the space functional for entertaining as well as a comfortable spot for everyday living.
