Last blog post, we talked about some of the homeowner's requests for a master bathroom renovation in Glen Allen, Virginia. We were able to come up with some fun, creative design solutions, and we were all very happy with the results.
The room was in good shape and gave us a neutral ground on which we could build our design. For the sake of the budget, we decided to keep the existing tile flooring, and because the client loves blues, we decided to run with them and find a nice, soothing palate.
Light blue walls, a deeper blue double vanity with tan granite, and a large mirror all make this space appear larger, and attract the natural light flowing in from the window over the tub. Bead board wainscoting around the tub provides an interesting detail. New tile and fixtures in the shower and an attractive seeded glass shower door add to the design and create a sanctuary for this hardworking mom to relax.
We had a lot of fun meeting the challenges of this renovation, and we hope you have found something here that inspires you. We will be putting up a few more blogs on challenging designs and creative solutions, so be sure to check back for more!
